Based on my multiple trips to Amsterdam, I have published my tried and tested itinerary that will make you fall in love with Amsterdam.  Here is a glimpse of SOME of the things I suggest you do here.

Walk around in the city center to get a feel of Amsterdam's beauty. Get yourself an I Amsterdam card to save money on attractions.

I list some of the prettiest bridges and canals in my post where you can click a nice photo

Head to one of the open air markets that Amsterdam is famous for - Waterlooplein or the Flower Market. Check my blog for more info.

Enjoy Amsterdam from another perspective: get on a boat for a canal cruise.  There are many kinds of cruises but I suggest a private open boat. The most basic ones are included for free with the Amsterdam city card.  If you want to splurge, then the private open boats are amazing and  the experience is way better than a basic boat.

One of the best ways of exploring Amsterdam is by bike. Rent one and explore the city like a local. Click on the photos for tips. (free with I Amsterdam card)

Amsterdam has some of the best museums in the world. Take some time off to visit Rijkmuseum and Van Gogh museums. Museum entry is free withg the I Amsterdam card.

Restaurants in Amsterdam are expensive but I love this  food court - De Hallen, with food from many parts of the world, Michelin star chef owned eatery and beer from the tap. Click on the photo for more details.

This is Hortus Botanicus, my new favopurite place in Amsterdam. I visited for a quiet afternoon and loved every bit of it. The highlight of this visit was the butterfly garden. Visit to Hortus Botanicus is freew with the I Amsterdam city card.

Head to Amsterdam-Noord, get on top of A'Dam tower for this extreme swing and a bar with a view.

Amsterdam Noord is full of quirky street art and installations and many of them are in NDSM.  Visit NDSM for a different kind of an experience. You can bring your cycle inside as you look around you.

Enjoy the bar scene of Amsterdam-Noord, the nightlife scene here is better than the city center.   I absolutely love Pllek, which has a beach area and an amazing vibe.

Some of my favourite moments in Amsterdam were when I walked around aimlessly and admired pretty spots. I list some spots on my website, click the photo to get more info.

I love how Amsterdam looks when the sun goes down because all the pretty lights shine along the canals and bridges.  Optional: walk through the red light district for an interesting experience.

This web story mentions some of the things you can do in Amsterdam, but I share more detail on my blog, with tips, common mistakes and more.  I update the Amsterdam itinerary post with each visit to include new information and new tips.  Make sure you check out my blog post too, to make your trip epic.
